Took this photo at the zoo. My kids were hesitant to try this but after a little convincing, my eldest decided that it would be cool to have her photo taken with these red birds.

I wasn’t able to take a decent ruby-red picture this week due to the recent calamity that hit our country. Am actually still reeling from its after effects but am thankful that my entire family is safe. I had to go through the pictures stored in one of my micro sd to find an entry for today. Luckily for me, our next door neighbor just happens to have a 20-year old fire tree in his yard. And even better, its branches reach just beside my daughters’ bedroom window. I took this picture from my kids’ room.
