I had a bit of difficulty for this color theme. Fact is, I wasn’t able to get anything in silver at all this season. So I decided on the next best thing, I took out one of our prized possessions which always makes an appearance on our holiday table.
.

.
This silver wine chiller has been in the family for ages. It belonged to my grandma and has chilled many a bottle of wine…and bubbly too.
.
In her entire silver collection, this is my favorite. A few years ago I earned her ire when I decided that it was to be used as a vase for my dried grass and dried flower collection. Without asking her permission I went ahead and completed this humungous arrangement. Obviously, she hated it and promptly tossed the grass and flowers into the garbage can.
.
This year will be special for our silver wine chiller. My mom decided that we would pop open a bottle of Dom Perignon to celebrate Christmas. We’ve kept that bottle for the longest time because it was the last bottle of bubbly that my dad bought. We were holding on to it for sentimental reasons. But not anymore. My dad would have wanted it that way.
.

.
Along with our ham, salad, fruits, and pie..this bottle of bubbly will surely make our Noche Buena quite festive. I’ll be needing the best diet pills after all that celebrating is over.
