After my kids’ fieldtrip last Wednesday, we went on a 4-Day weekend. The school declared Thursday and Friday as rest days so add that to Saturday and Sunday equals 4 days of no work and all play.

So what is one to do on a 4-day weekend? Going on another road trip was out of the questions since we just came from a Tagaytay trip last week and this coming weekend we’re booked at a hotel at the bay area to celebrate Adi’s 4th birthday.

So is there anything left to do? Absolutely!! The kids and I have been getting our healthy dose of watching all the television shows that we want. We’ve been missing some of our favorite shows due to school work so this was the perfect time to catch up. It made me realize that we don’t have nearly enough channels to watch. Our cable provider is lacking in quality channels and I’ve been thinking of switching to a better provider like Directtv. I’ve been checking out the lineup of Direct TV and it is quite impressive. Problem is, if we do get Directv, I might not want to leave the house anymore.

Well, today is our last day of the weekend and it’s back to the daily grind tomorrow. But I am counting the days till school ends which is coming very, very soon. Hooray!!
