If there is one thing about a blog event that will pique my interest is that if it involves my kids. Blame my being a mommah but my kids will always come first before anything else. So I was more than excited to sign up for the Active Fun event when the invite said that it was providing “free play time” for the kids. This was just perfect. So armed with the invite I casually mentioned it to my kids as we were driving home from school and I immediately got woots and cheers from them. Great, this was going to be my secret weapon to get them to behave for the rest of the week. True enough, whenever they would get a tad too noisy I would tell them that I wouldn’t take them to the event anymore and within 2 seconds I would get them to keep quiet.

When the day arrived they were extraordinarily behaved. I knew that this was a precursor to the whooping up they would be doing at Active Fun. Never mind, I thought, they earned every second of playtime. I knew it the moment they spotted the colorful sign as we ascended the escalator that it was going to a fun fun evening.

To say that the kids had fun is an understatement.  They had a blast so much so that they forgot to eat.  Actually, even I had fun.  I joined my kids inside and discovered that there was still some childishness  left in me.  I even had to convince one of the staff that I needed to try the slide (which was off limits to adults).  She was convinced and she let me try it with Adi.  Can’t wait to go back soon…and I mean really soon.

Active Fun is located at the 3rd floor of SM North Edsa Annex. They also have party packages for your little one’s special day. You can contact them at 3323929 or 2159891 or log on to their website at www.activefun.ph.
