This weeks Weekly Question is about describing oneself as a friend.
.
Can you describe yourself as a friend? Or how do your friends describe you as a friend?
.
I think I would be the wrong person to ask to describe myself as a friend. I would run the risk of sounding like a conceited bastard if I try to. But, in the spirit of compliance and because I really believe so..I think the best word I can find to describe myself is “supportive” and “open minded.” I am not the kind of friend who would contradict you but I am the kind of friend who will be there for you in case you fail.
.
My friends know that I am not the kind who can be there all the time. And when I mean all the time I mean there at every occasion, at every gathering, at every gimik. But..and I mean it when I say this and my friends can attest to this…I am the kind of friend who will be there when I am sorely needed. Admittedly, some of my old friends would sometimes regard me as a benevolent snob but is capable of having loads of fun whenever possible. My bestest-friend-in-the-world, on the other hand, describes me as consistent. Consistent? I guess he means I haven’t changed. I’m still the same old whacked out, sometimes zoned out, sometimes bitchy snob I have been after all these years.

Especially now that we have families (most of my friends/colleagues are singles, for goodness sake) I am not able to go with them sa mga gimmicks and I don’t mind that they don’t really ask me out to go with them anymore, except for very important occasions that they demand my presence.
Thanks for doing this tag agad. I am off to read your Palawan trip post.
By the way, when is our next dinner date with the gang?

Oo, kelan na ang next eating date natin. July na!

Hi Analyse!! Ako din. I like people who remain true to themselves all the time. Ayoko yung nag-iiba yung ugali pag medyo naging ok ang buhay nila. Never mind the external..kahit sino naman nagbabago talaga ang external di ba

Eh if we’re together, then we’re a couple of biatchy snobs? hahaha. But sabi nga ni ate melanie marquez : “Don’t judge me, i’m not a book!” LOLZ
I think you make a great friend.

It’s great that you’re always present when it comes to special occasions. That’s what I miss. Ever since I transferred to Batangas, it’s not so easy to attend every single occasion.
