Its My Birthday Month!!

Other than the fact that the rainy season is upon us and vacation time is slowly grinding to a halt, the fact that I can feel that my joints need a little oiling signals that June is upon us. And that means I’ll be turning a year older…OLDER!!!

Darn, I actually feel old this time around. Seriously. Thanks to my doctor BIL, I found out that I’ve got swollen ligaments on my right elbow. He prescribed me some meds that, according to my sister, is usually taken by oldies for their creaking bones. Just to elucidate what I mean, when I told her I was taking them she gave me a half smile with a bit of a sneer. Ok, I get it.

But other than getting older, the hubs and I will be celebrating our 10th year of married bliss. Not this June but in November. And despite my aging limbs, I have every intention of celebrating. I would have wanted to don the white dress again however, the body can’t. I need to check out some plus sized wedding dresses if I decide to push through with this.

Also, to cap my 44th year on this earth, we’ll be moving to our spanking new house. And that is the cherry on top of my cake.
