The House Project
Its been almost 4 months since we started building the new house. To say that I’m excited is an understatement.
To date, we have finished with the foundations of the house, built the retaining wall of the basement, completed the first floor slab, and now we are working on putting the second floor in place.
Despite the stage we are in, the hubs and I have managed to amass a considerable amount of furnishings. We’ve got doors, cabinets, a/c’s, a couple of chairs. Our present house now looks like a bodega. And since all that stuff cannot fit here, I have asked my Mom to adopt some of our stuff in the meantime. I have cleverly arranged them in her house so they look like part of the furniture.
Barring any major setback, we should be moving in my November.
