Whenever the Christmas season arrives, the one thing I always look out for are bargains. Great bargains, in fact. There is nothing like the word “sale” to get my heart pumping. I love sales..especially holiday sales.

This year I started early. Malls and department stores started offering holiday discounts as early as October and I, being me, didn’t pass up the chance to find some great deals.

I got this Mango wallet at more than 70% off its original price. It’s all leather and even has those leather stringy things which I’m absolutely loving these days. I’ve seen those leather stringy things on some really expensive bags (like Balenciaga and LV) so this is like my el cheapo way of complying with what’s “uso”.

I got this all-leather Case Logic camera bag at the recent Trinoma Green Light Sale. I found it at, of all places, Gourdo’s which is a kitchen equipment store. It was sitting there on the top rack of this shelf with books and diaries. I just liked the way it looked so I got it just to see how it looked like up close. When I dared to look at the price tag I got the biggest surprise of my life when I saw…Php 350!! Holy cow!! I stopped looking around and immediately paid for the item.

So there, those are my biggest holiday finds….to date. I can’t say if these will be it yet, though. There are still several days before Christmas.
